Aggie Ring Scholarship Application Guide for Students
The Aggie Ring Scholarship helps students at Texas A&M University get their special Aggie Ring. This ring shows that you are part of the Aggie family. If you need help paying for your ring, this scholarship can assist you.
What is the Aggie Ring Scholarship?
The Aggie Ring Scholarship gives money to students who can't afford the Aggie Ring. It started in 2009 to help students who have worked hard but need financial help to get their ring.
Who Can Apply?
To apply for the Aggie Ring Scholarship, you must:
- Be a student at Texas A&M University.
- Have completed 90 total undergraduate or professional hours, with at least 45 completed at Texas A&M.
- Have a minimum cumulative Institutional GPA of 2.0.
- Not be on academic probation, suspension, dismissal, expulsion, or on honor violation probation.
- Be enrolled at least half-time and making satisfactory academic progress.
How to Apply
Follow these steps to apply:
- Go to the University Scholarship Application between October 15 and February 1.
- Answer the Aggie Ring question: "Do you anticipate receiving your Aggie Ring in September, November, or April?"
- Submit your application before the February 1 deadline.

Selection Process
After you apply, the Scholarships & Financial Aid office will check if you qualify. They look at your academic progress and financial need. Not everyone who applies will get the scholarship because funds are limited. About 300 scholarships are given out each year.
